GN: we need more data on v7.0 -> v8.0 app data migration

Karthik: v7 uses docker volumes & v8 uses bind mounts to store persistent data. Need to inspect furthur on it.

VK: Let’s create a form about who needs v7 -> v8 data migration support. We should add this in v8.0 announcement mail & website as well

R2: we need to inform that the version v8.0 is a Alpha release & WIP. We need to recommend users to start fresh install to try it out. We dont provide warranty for the data.

Survesh: Should we support windows support too? As docker does not work well with windows v7 / 8 ?

VK: let’s focus on docker based installers for linux first & eventually add windows one’s too
